I am a notorious Pinterest fail mom. I pin amazing, detailed, creative projects, that I don’t have time for. Usually, they end ugly; I wind up frustration needing wine, and sometimes there are tears (mostly mine, sometimes Madison’s).
In light of all that, I have made it my mission to create a list of REALISTIC Pinterest ideas for all my disorganized parents out there. Learn from my mistakes, don’t go pin crazy just because the picture looked great! Some of these I’ve tried, and some are on my todo, but ALL of them are doable! Often, even the round ups overwhelm me, so I’ve kept this list short and to the point! Enjoy our Easy Christmas Craft Round Up with your littles!
This snowman ornament from Clever Pink Pirate is CRAZY simple!! The Disorganized Tip: use a carrot nose from any Olaf you have lying around, or cut a piece of an orange crayon and stick it in the nose spot!

Raising Whasians totally pulled double duty when they created their Puzzle Piece Garland. It’s a GREAT way to use up old puzzles and create an adorable craft. This is cheap, easy, and fun! The Disorganized Tip: DON’T try and use your daughter’s favorite Elsa puzzle even though the pieces are missing, it might end in tears.
Candy Canes are a must in at least one activity! These Candy Cane Reindeer are simple, and a great gift for classmates! Check out the how to at My Mommy World. Just because it’s cute, doesn’t mean it has to be hard! The Disorganized Tip: don’t overthink it! Easy is key!
It wouldn’t be a Christmas Craft list without at least one pinecone activity! This Pine Cone Angel is easy to make and can be done on the CHEAP! At Peace but not Quiet, this spin on the traditional pinecone is a great way to get the kids involved in the holiday spirit! I can’t wait to make a family of pinecones that represent us!! The Disorganized Tip: Add a little snow and some glitter to the pinecone for a little extra glam! *Please note: we are not afraid of glitter bombs in our house!
